Skin products that I use!
It's fun posting on blogger o.o I never realised it but it is very relaxing!
Anyway, the products I use for my skin during my morning and night cleansing routine...
From behind: Watsons Green Tea Toner, Skin79 Peeling Gel, Super Drug Tea Foaming Face Wash, Pure Beauty Super Brightening Multi Cleanser.
From the middle row: Myra E Facial Moisturiser Daily Sun Protect, Myra E Facial Moisturiser, Pure Beauty Super Brightening Essence, Pure Beauty Pomegranate Antioxidant Essence, Garner Light Complete, Pure Beauty Super Brightening Eye Gel, and Arm&Hammer Baking Soda.
Front Row: Tonymoly Eggpore Blackhead Out Oil Gel.
My other thingies:
Lancome Bi-facil makeup remover, Lancome Absolute Ultimate Serum, Innisfree White Tone Up Eye Serum ^_^
MOVING ON!
It seems like I have a lot of face products...And I guess I do? I mean, since I was a 13 and predisposed to acne, I would take very serious care of my skin. If I had a before photo when I was younger, I would show you what I looked like, but all I can show you is the now, on how haggard I look without my makeup on and contacts on xD I don't wear GEO contact lenses because they irritate my eyes, so I just wear the regular coloured contacts you can buy at your local EO stores...
There's my mugshot of me without makeup and just woken up -__- I look terrible with my eyebags and frizzy hair! XD But I'm not afraid of posting myself without makeup even though it is somewhat embarrassing if I had to be honest...
Anyway, I have 3 facial washes: The pure beauty brightening one, the Super Drug Tea Tree, and also Baking soda xD
It seems like a lot for skin but it really isn't. The Super Drug one I use in the morning because I love the refreshing feeling it leaves, and the Baking soda and Pure Beauty one I use at night. ^_^
NOTE: Baking soda is a very, very gentle exfoliator, perfect for everyday use. I've been doing it for years now and it really does help me have clear skin :D
As for the serums, I'm a fan of them. Why? Because prevention is better than no prevention at all! In an article I read somewhere on the internet, the earlier you start your anti-aging regimen, the better! So...yeah...I use the serums to get brighter skin because, since I'm a premed student, I tend to stay late nights and have sallow-looking skin the next morning -__-
Eye serums/Eye gels work for me. I get puffy/dark eyes in the morning and when I use them in conjunction with each other, my eyebags aren't so bad and the puffiness is gone! <3
The peeling gel from skin79 is awesome btw. I use it 2x a week and it really does take off all the dead skin. I just scrub my face for about 5 minutes and am always amazed at how much dead skin comes off lol.
About the tonymoly eggpore thing. It really does work. I don't know why people say it doesn't! Maybe they're just using it wrong? Most of the time I come out of a hot shower, then put this on my nose and scrub away for about 3-5 minutes, just like the directions say! And then I put a nose mask on and rip the blackheads off o_o they really do come off! So yeah..this thing is perfect to get out blackheads!
And if you're wondering about the garnier thingy there...err. I have it as a spot treatment for dark spots? It helps in lightening the dark spots from the cystic pimples I get on my skin from time to time. I usually have clear skin but sometimes I guess during my time of month, one, hard and very ouchie pimple comes out from down under. e-e
As for the myra e moisturisers, I use the one with spf in the morning and the one without for night!
ALL IN ALL...
Even though I don't have the smoothest, nor clearest skin, at least it looks like I do, right? o.o I'll eventually do more detailed reviews of all the products I use, but that'll be later, when I'm not so lazy ^_^
